Matto's Meadowbank branch on Cadzow Place was the first of the group's three Edinburgh pizzerias, opened in 2020, and turns out Neapolitan-style pizzas from a wood-fired oven at around 500C in under a minute. Dough is mixed fresh each day and given a long prove, with Italian imports alongside local produce. The pizza list is numbered rather than named, running from a plain tomato-and-oregano base through to toppings like nduja, wild boar salami on a truffle base, and speck with goats cheese; collection and Deliveroo orders are both available.
