Jolly is a long-running family-run Italian restaurant on Elm Row, where hand-stretched 12" and 14" pizzas come out of a wood-fired oven in more than forty variations — everything from a plain Margherita to haggis, neeps and tatties on the Rabbie Burns. The wider menu runs to pasta, risotto, steaks and fish, with three-course lunch and early-evening set menus and a half-pizza/half-pasta option. High chairs, a baby-changing area and cheap Sunday kids' meals make it an easy stop for families, and takeaway pizzas are cheaper than eating in.
